Baños de Agua Santa
Baños de Agua Santa es una pequeña ciudad que se levanta entre los Andes centrales y la Amazonía de Ecuador, a ocho kilómetros del cráter del volcán Tungurahua y 4 horas de la ciudad de Quito. Baños según datos históricos, no tuvo fundador ni fecha alguna de fundación. Cuando los españoles llegaron por primera vez a este sitio, lo denominaron IPO en lengua Puruhá, motivo por el cual se considera que su origen se encuentra en los pueblos Puruháes.
